We have to admit it, but we have had some fairly bad weather over the last month or so. The lack of blue skies has been quite frustrating. We have been suffering from day upon day of grey cloudy weather as a big (Caribbean wide) tropical system sat right on top of Cuba.Whilst we can reschedule a lot of our work, with weddings you just cannot. We feel terrible for brides and grooms when this happens. It is rare (perhaps 5 weddings in the last 10 years) have had to be moved indoors because of persistent rain - this was the case for Lori and Lance. However, that wasn't what made this wedding so special.

 This wedding was special for us because of two things - firstly the complete lack of any hysterics or "bridezilla-ness" from Lori when really she had every right to be even a little uptight.  Even the Pastor said she was one of the nicest brides he had ever helped!! Go Lori!!! She was calm, she enjoyed every moment (rain and all) and was just positive from the start to the finish -as a result (I believe) she had a wonderful wedding with or without the sunshine.

 

 

The second thing was the emotion - there was lots of it - everywhere!! Wonderful!!! It's what we love.....

 

Dad was a bit of an ipod "guru" and incidentally had the best "toast" we have heard in quite a while - "go tigers" .
